sunset smears hot pink lipstick on clouds bruised purple
the sky unfolds in sheave of burnt vellum
weary wonders in the black dip murky soup frosted in swirls of zodiac froth
raw cotten stretched out absorbing, soaking in crimson silence
moving like mute dinosaurs
crashing through white tundra
these gravy dipped giants
marching across horizons and oceans
the vast gravity of perfect isolation
somewhere beyond all the screams and songs
watching from jagged caves
clouds cover us like childhood blankets
stealing carnivor monsters from the dreaming eye
making shadow armies into benvolant parades swallowed in the belly of symbiotic warmth
my visions are umbillical and invisible
pelican umbreallas to shelter the frigid pale
heat melts the place where im frozen to the past
lazy oatmeal tendrils stretching the sky elastic
